Scopely’s unannounced cross-platform strategy MMO may involve Hasbro, according to recruitment material that names the company in a marketing approvals role. The reference connects a specific potential partner to a project otherwise described only as using a well-known intellectual property.

A Senior Product Manager vacancy on Scopely’s recruitment board describes an “ambitious, unannounced, cross-platform Strategy/MMO featuring a well-known IP”. The recruitment trail predates this week: a matching product-management record on Revolution carries a posting date of 3 June 2025.

The Hasbro reference appears in search-indexed text of Remotive’s copy of a marketing-operations vacancy. Among the responsibilities is the instruction: “Work with Hasbro team on necessary approvals.” The US-remote role reports to the vice-president of marketing, with duties covering campaign planning, creative work and coordination with the game’s production and live-operations teams.

Remotive’s condensed description does not include the full Strategy/MMO passage. That connection appears in LinkedIn’s matching marketing vacancy, which uses the same project description as Scopely’s product-management role. Search-indexed text for that LinkedIn vacancy also contains the Hasbro instruction, placing the company name and the Strategy/MMO description within the same recruitment record.

There is a material difference between the available versions. The LinkedIn page retrieved during our checks says “IP Partner” where the indexed text names Hasbro. The original Scopely Greenhouse vacancy link now redirects to the company’s careers site. These versions do not establish why the wording differs, and they should not be treated as separate confirmations of a partnership. Hasbro’s involvement in this particular project remains an inference from the recruitment record.

The companies already have an established relationship. In a 2025 PocketGamer.biz interview republished by Scopely, Javier Ferreira described Hasbro as one of Scopely’s earliest partners and said their collaboration had produced three games based on its properties. The question raised by the vacancy is whether that relationship extends to this unnamed strategy project.

The project’s listings do not identify the underlying franchise, give a release window or specify which devices are covered by the cross-platform description.

Source note — 1 October 2026: The linked Remotive vacancy is unavailable. The Hasbro wording was retrieved from search-indexed recruitment text; Sourceborne does not hold an archived copy of the original listing. The LinkedIn page retrieved during our checks uses “IP Partner”. Hasbro’s involvement in this project remains unconfirmed.
